Grounded in Family Values
Ryan Orgeron, founder and owner of Drake Engineering, could say he was literally born into the electrical industry. His father, Carl Orgeron, officially established his company, A-1 Electrical Contractors, the day after Ryan was born in 1973. After growing up around the field, obtaining his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and receiving his professional engineering license, Ryan started Drake Engineering in 2000. In 2016, Ryan gained 100% ownership of his father’s business, allowing the two companies to often work hand-in-hand, completing a number of design-build projects. Spreading beyond its initial location, Drake Engineering is now licensed to operate in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Florida and Alabama.
